In 2004 AL created a global buzz by being commissioned by ISKCON TEMPLE for a makeover for the deity Lord Krishna (as a run up to celebrating "The Hottest Janamashtami of the Century" after which they were not only covered by the Indian and International media (with a special feature on BBC) but also won acclaim for the process which was emblematic of their commitment to the design process and their client’s sentiments. The entire team which worked on it including the designers, the artisans, the tailors and embroiderers and others ate vegetarian food, took frequent ritualistic baths and abstained from the consumption of alcohol and cigarettes during the execution of this assignment.
